Our technicians go through a training and qualification process. Our calibration laboratories and field services operate under the same quality system using controlled calibration, verification, and operational procedures. This ensures consistent service, regardless of which team performs the work.

The precision with which a tool is calibrated can make or break a business -- a fact that PCI’s team takes to heart -- provides clients with confidence in their instruments' accuracy.
Our calibration verification and adjustment procedures are derived from recognized national or international practices or from applicable manufacturing instructions. Physical standards utilized are of adequate accuracy – typically 4:1 standard to unit under test ratio.
All standards are traceable to NIST, equivalent national or internal sources, or physical constants, as appropriate to the measurement parameter.
Calibration tolerances are based on government standards, generally accepted practices, original manufacturer’s specifications, or based on client specifications.
All testing, calibration and machining services are performed according to our stringent procedures, government standards, client requirements and applicable military specifications.
Records are maintained of the calibration and maintenance history of each standard as well as which client calibrations it performed and procedures employed. Calibration items are labeled for identification and the calibration access sealed (instrument design permitting).

We notify our clients at the requested recalibration interval of any instrument calibrated by our laboratory. We also provide notification of any out-of-tolerance conditions on your equipment, and of any out of tolerance conditions discovered on a PCI standard, which could affect the validity of your calibration.
In order to provide our clients with the most consistent and timely service and to maintain the recordkeeping and data records of inspections of the calibration process, we utilize Blue Mountain Software. This advanced calibration management software can be run in your facility or ours, providing instant information and peace of mind, knowing your calibrations are being handled by a competent, professional organization.
